I have heard of Tim Keller before but never really listened to his sermons until one evening — I was at my lowest point ever; massively heartbroken.

I was trying to iron my clothes but I could not continue as I felt so much pain and anxiety. I reached out for my phone in hopes of finding something on Spotify when the phrase “Tim Keller forgiveness” came to mind. I typed it and the sermon “Forgiving and Forgiven” came up. That was the beginning of my healing process to forgive someone who hurt me.

God slowly mended my heart while also confronting me of my own idols through Tim Keller’s wisdom, which I’ll be eternally grateful for.

Tim Keller was like the grandfather I never had but wished I had. Though I never met him in person, I felt this sense of warmth through his sermons and sharings.

Every morning as I get ready for work, I listen to a sermon by Tim Keller. It is a habit I never thought I’d ever develop but as Tim Keller says.. the gospel truly changes everything.

My prayer for the Kellers is that God will surround you with love and peace. We grieve with you but we also thank God for the amazing life Tim Keller has led and the profound impact he’s had in so, so many people’s lives.
